Concert at Het Gesticht

A WINTER fundraising concert will be held at the historic Het Gesticht church in Main Street, Paarl on 31 May at 19:00.
Performing will be two well-known local choirs, B-Flat Quartet and Mighty Joyous Singers.
B-Flat Quartet, an all male Christian a capella group, was founded in 2002, and despite its relatively short history, has left deep impressions wherever they performed in the Western Cape.
The four members (Wilfred Williams, Jacobus Vaughan, Ronald Lewis and Frank Boesack), focus on gospel music.
They have won a number of choir competitions and have performed on the TV programme Kwêla.
Mighty Joyous Singers, a group from Mbekweni, performs traditional music and lullabys, under the leadership of Vuyani Hans.
They have performed at the Endler Hall and achieved fourth place in the Pan Afrique Musique et des Arts Competition in 1995.
