Local fighters on their way to taekwondo world champs

A TEAM of eleven taekwondo students and instructors from Paarl, Willowbridge and Cape Town (Action Sport Martial Arts School) have been invited to represent South Africa at the first Yong Moo Do World Championships in South Korea from 30 May.
The Boland/Western Cape team with Paarlites Quintin Harman (29), Ryan Muller (21), Sakhe Maseti (18), Michelle Oosthuizen (14), Liesel Kok (34), Chia-Ching Wang (21) and JP Camara (36, instructor) will be the only African representatives amongst the 44 nations expected to take part in this very historic event.
The group will not only participate at the world champs, but will also spend time at the Yong-In and Yong-Dong Universities for three weeks to undergo extensive training.
