Family Fun Day

A MOTOR Show and Family Fun Day will be held on 26 May at the Boy Louw Rugby Field in Paarl.
Organiser André Lingson of the Valley Chefs expects more than 170 vehicles, some very special.
There will be family entertainment, a show and shine competition, dealership exhibits, sound-off competitions, live bands and deejays, a strong man competition, fleamarket stands, a craft market and food stalls.
A parade with five groups of Minstrels and customised cars will start in Zion Street, behind La Romantica Restaurant at 09:30.
A baby competition and a fashion show will be held at the grounds, with the prize-giving at 17:00.
The event is a fund-raising effort for the Paarl Stimulation Centre for children with disabilities for the acquisition of new equipment and upgrading of facilities.
