THE winners in the 2007 AA Travel Guides and American Express Accommodation Awards programme were announced last week.

Among the 37 winners was Akademie Street in Franschhoek, which won in the category small B&B.

This consumer-based programme is well-known for identi-fying and awarding the best tourist accommodation establishments in South Africa.
