Workshop on child abuse

A WORKSHOP to aid professionals in handling child abuse has been organised by the Western Cape Association for Play Therapy on 6 June.
The workshop will be held at the TygerBear Centre, Tygerberg Hospital, Cape Town.
Prof Susan Kreston, a visiting Professor in Law from the United States of America provides international training in physical abuse, sexual abuse and sexual exploitation prosecution.
She will be chairing a full-day workshop on preparing and testifying in court, as well as interviewing children and adolescents for forensic purposes.
Costs amount to R300 including tea, lunch and extensive notes. Registration after 23 May will be R375.
