Housing planned on Anura

A PROPOSED development on Anura Vineyard Estate at Klapmuts includes a boutique hotel and wellness spa.
Plans have been drawn up for the construction of 64 single residental units, 100 group houses, a boutique hotel, wellness spa and small retail centre with 48 rooms and 26 wellness centre apartments.
Previously disturbed areas on the farm will be linked with current wetlands to form an ecological corridor, while the property will remain a working farm.
An environmental impact assessment report is available for public review at the Klapmuts Primary School, at Anura Estate as well as at the environmental consultant, Anél Blignaut (021 887-9900).

* The former golf driving range to the south of the Dal Josaphat traffic centre on Jan van Riebeeck Drive, Paarl, is being offered for sale.
Drakenstein Municipality is awaiting tenders for the purchase of the land. The land will be sold directly to one company and not to developers or agents.There is speculation that a transport company is interested in relocating to the property.

* Application has been made for the rezoning of a semi-detached dwelling in Paarl’s historical Main Street, for use as restaurant and tourist shop.
The homestead at 54 to 56 Main Street, belonging to JA Clift (Pty) Ltd, adjoins the Schoongezicht wine cellar.
Fifteen parking bays will be provided on the adjacent Erf 3429, by means of a parking servitude.
