Waste Not winners announced

COMPETITIONS were held last week for schools and scholars during Waste Not Week by the Drakenstein Municipality.
The individual winners in the Foundation Phase were Ashiraan van Niekerk & Caitlyn April R1000 (R500 each), Zence van der Merwe R500 and Jessica Jacobs R250.
The winning schools were Nederburg Primary R3000, Drakenstein Primary R2 500 and Newton Primary R2000.
The individual winners of the Intermediate Phase were Zelda Davids R1000, Jenneth Malgas, Michalah Markgraaff, El-Shaun Davids, Angelo Lackay (sharing R500) and Asomahlo Botha R250.
The winning schools were Rondeheuwel Primary R3000, Hillcrest Primary R2500 and Langabuya Primary R2000.
A special prize of R3000 was awarded to Wellington Youth Centre.
The prizes were sponsored by Plastic Omnium, Transtech, Nedbank, and Jan Palm Consulting Engineers.
