2005-05-26
UNITS in the proposed redevelopment of the former BoE Bank building in the heart of Paarl are selling fast. At the pre-launch cocktail held at the premises, 30% of the residential units were sold, according to the developers.
One of the first purchasers is Anton Möller of Décor Lighting in Paarl, who bought the entire top floor to create a penthouse with exclusive use of the roof deck.
The planning is in an advanced stage and most of the professional teams have been appointed.
The group behind the bid is a consortium of high profile business people from Pretoria, Tulbagh and Cape Town.
Negotiations with Möller of Décor Lighting to supply all the upmarket finishes on this project are also well advanced.
According to the developers local residents and business people support the development. Enquiries have been received from as far afield as America and Sweden.
Only a few units are still available.
