Concert with solo, duo and quartet

APPEARING in the new Cape Town Concert Series season, which runs from July 29 to November 17 on Saturday evenings at the Baxter, are a mix of exciting performers appearing in solo, duo, trio and quartet.
The season includes a performance by the Russian pianist Margarita Shevchenko.
Czech pianist Jitka Cechova performs with her cello duo partner, Jan Palenicek.
Included in the concerts in this season are the Ensemble Hans Gál (violin, clarinet and piano) and the Schubert Ensemble (a piano quartet).
The Ensemble Hans Gál will perform on Sunday, July 29, at 17:00.
The season comes to an end on November 17 with a performance by the Russian-born American violinist Philippe Quint who will be performing in duo with the distinguished South African pianist, Francois du Toit.
Ticket sales commence at Computicket on 16 July.
