The game between Paarl Soccer Club and Franschhoek United ended in a 1-1 draw.
When Young Africans clashed with Vivendi Strikers in Mbekweni on Sunday, the home team had the better of their opponents from the start.
Vivendi Strikers had countless opportunities to put themselves ahead, but poor inter-play and misdirected shots at goal left them high and dry.
Even though Young Africans’ keeper, Bongani Mncinjana, was red-carded late in the second half, the Strikers could not take advantage of the situation and subsequently lost the game 4-2.
* More results: Sparkling Stars beat Glenview Aces 3-1, Eleven Ideas beat Young Stars 2-0, Saints drew 1-1 with African Jaguars, Franschhoek United beat Young Ideas 1-0.
