COURAGEOUS in their new Currie Cup boots Boland continues to blister their opponents.

In an away game in Brakpan on Friday, the Boland Cavaliers snatched a 39-33 victory over the Valke in an Absa Currie Cup match.

Isma-eel Dollie put in a superb all-round performance, scoring 19 points by way of a try, four conversions and two penalties.

The half-time score was 24-17 and the Valke did all the running in the opening minutes of the second half.

With five minutes to go, Andries Human, stood his team proud when he dived over in the corner to score a try and regain the lead for the Cavaliers.

Cavaliers won the match when flyhalf Dollie kicked a penalty with but a minute left.

Due to their recent victories over WP (15 -10) and the Valke, Boland is currently positioned third for the Currie Cup.

Team manager Denver Pienaar said that the team remains positive, but are concerned about the upcoming match since they are currently suffering from injuries which complicate their preparation for the upcoming match when they take on the Sharks.

The full Sharks team will also be back in South Africa, which may further complicate matters, as they have not been able to beat the Sharks for the last five years.

Boland will be playing the Sharks on their home turf, Boland Stadium, on Saturday 21 July at 15:00.
