Last of the grand wine evenings

This year’s last evenings of wine will be held at Bosman’s Restaurant in the Grande Roche Hotel on 11 August and 25 August.
The first evening features Iona Vineyards and Luddite Wines with owner Andrew Gunn of Iona and Niels Verburg, owner of Luddite, who is also the winemaker for both these cellars.
The wine evening on Saturday 25 August, will be hosted by the partnership of owners/winemakers Bruwer Raats of Raats Family Wines and Mzokhona Mvemve of Sagila Wines, also presenting their joint venture Mvemve Raats.
The two are old colleagues and Mzokhona is a respected taster for the John Platter SA Wine Guide 2007.
The gourmet experiences include an aperitif served from 19:00, a five course gourmet dinner starting with Amuse Bouche and six different wines specially selected by the guest host to match each course, coffee and petit fours.
