Enviro open day

THE Drakenstein municipality invites all interested parties to visit an Open Day exhibition of posters at the Paarl town hall on Friday, summarising the key findings of the first State of Environment (SOE) Report for the Drakenstein Municipal Area .
The report by the UCT Environmental Evaluation Unit provides an overview of the current state of the environment, the trends in environmental change and the impacts associated with these changes.
It alerts decisionmakers and authorities to changes taking place which need specific responses.
The Open Day will be held in the Paarl Town Hall (Banqueting Hall) from 11:30 to 17:30.
A brief presentation of the key findings will be made to the public at 13:00 and 16:30 by the consultants.
