A NEW art gallery, Off the Wall, opens at 171 Main Street, Paarl, on Wednesday.
The debut exhibition is a mix of famous and less-known Paarl artists, as well as ceramicists, printmakers, sculptors, and artists working with paint and pencil, from across the country.
Also on display is work by the winner of the KKNK Kanna art award, multi-media artist Chris Diedericks.
The exhibition will be opened on Wednesday evening at 18:30 by art fundi and Johannesburg gallery owner, Gordon Froud. Prints and drawings by his wife, Diane Victor, are also exhibited.
The gallery is a joint venture by Paarl businessperson Lynn Roux and her creative daughter, Wendy. Off the Wall Contemporary, which is curated by Wendy, ends on 17 September.
