THE company Parceval Pharmaceuticals have reaffirmed their confidence in the town of Wellington in the Western Cape.
Parceval Pharmaceuticals has announced that they will be investing R7,8 million in Wellington for a new production facility. The new production facility will be erected in the business district of Wellington.
The new facility has been designed to accommodate the full production capabilities of Parceval, which includes tableting, capsuling and a bottling plant for the various syrups Parceval pack for leading pharmaceutical companies.
The new facility will meet the stringent South African MCC standards and have a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certificate.
Parceval has also allowed for the core competency of the business, tincture manufacturing, and has a wide selection of local African plant tinctures.
It is the supplier to Homeopathic Doctors and Pharmacies throughout South Africa.
“This investment shows our confidence in the people and the skill levels of Wellington,” said Ulrich Feiter, Chief Executive Officer of Parceval.
Parceval's growth in the last two years has forced it to investigate alternative premises for future growth and expansion.
Parceval is renowned for the high service level and commitment to partner relationships with its customers.
Parceval produces a range of natural products, and has access to some of the leading formulators in South Africa.
There has been a lot of interest recently in South African herbal tinctures from African and European countries and this is an area that Parceval will be focusing on in future.
“We see our customers as our partners and this investment is to enhance this business partnership so that we can accommodate future growth from our customers,” said Feiter.
Parceval has been involved in extensive farming operations in Wellington and has been at the forefront of new farming methods in the herbal industry.
