TEACHERS at the music department at Bridge House School in Groot Drakenstein, Marian Clift and Ruan Colyn, have published and launched a new contemporary guitar tutor.
A first contemporary guitar book for the young beginner, the tutor includes a CD with 25 backing tracks which assists the learner to play at home.
The book was launched at a workshop for guitar teachers in Cape Town by the publishers, Musical Pleasures.
A first theory book for the contemporary guitar player, their second book in the Rockfast series will be published later this month.
Both books are available in Afrikaans and English and can be purchased at Musiklood in Paarl.
