APPLICATIONS are awaited for the Cape Winemakers Guild protegé programme, where young winemakers have the opportunity to hone their skills and knowledge under the guidance of some of the country’s top winemakers.
The programme comprises of a four-year internship and only final third year and fourth year previously disadvantaged students from the University of Stellenbosch and Elsenburg Agricultural College studying Viticulture and Oenology can apply for the programme.
The closing date for the mentor programme is 30 September.
