Development plans for Paarl properties

PLANS to develop Kleinplaas property (erf 3504) at the top of Bosman Street in Paarl, high on the slope of Paarl Mountain, are under way.
The proposal is being environmentally assessed by Geostratics on behalf of the Troost family.
This project involves the development of single residential erven between 800 and 1300 square metres on the sloping property below the existing house.
About half of the two hectares is to be developed.
Development will incorporate widening of the steep access road of 30 metres, and installation of water and stormwater pipes.

* A new group housing development is planned in Paarl East, at the eastern end of Klein Drakenstein Avenue.
A section of the farm Palmietvlei, property of PF Theron, is to be subdivided into two portions.
One portion of seven hectares, is to developed for 100 group housing units (a density of about 14 units per hectare with an average erf size of 350 square metres).
