A SUMMER season filled with exciting fairytales and stories comes to the Oude Libertas theatre Saturday mornings for a magical journey to where our characters live and meet Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk and many more.

A variety of productions will be presented every Saturday at 10:00 from October until March.

At Oude Libertas the youngsters will learn to love and appreciate theatre, with a season jam packed with entertainment.

Kids will be exposed to quality children’s theatre productions and will leave enriched and with a feeling of well-being.

Skilled and committed children’s theatre producers make this project exciting and accessible for young and old.

There are original stories written by Anna Emm, fairytale interpretations by Gaerin Hauptfleisch and puppet theatre by Petrus du Preez.

Nicole Holm and Altan Ulgener present Langenhoven’s ghost stories in a refreshing new manner.

The Oude Libertas Centre has ample parking and is situated on the slopes of the Pappegaaiberg and overlooks the magnificent Stellenbosch mountain range. Children can play safely in the gardens, while parents enjoy breakfast at the restaurant or browse at the various product stalls.

To compliment the Children’s Theatre, there is a weekly art competition, where kids win exciting prizes for their participation.

The cost will be R30 (R20 per child).

For bookings, contact Jana Hattingh at 021-809-7474.
