LOVERS of flowers and scent can enjoy a wonderful outing in the garden of Jenny and Naas Ferreira outside Wellington on 20 and 21 October.
The garden on the farm Klein Optenhorst in the Bovlei has been featured in magazines locally and abroad, and the annual open invitation to the garden is a highlight on garden lovers’ calendars.
The farm garden, lush with influences from all parts of the world as well as indigenous planting, can be enjoyed from 09:30 to 16:30 on Saturday as well as Sunday.
Klein Optenhorst’s nursery, with a magnificent collection of Salvias, will be open and plants will be on sale to visitors during the weekend.
The R25 entrance fee includes tea, coffee and scones.
Funds will be donated to a local charity. Call 021-864-1210.
