Musicians perform for charity
2007-10-25
TWELVE talented musicians from the Frank Pietersen Music Centre who recently returned from a tour of Germany, will be performing at the Paarl Gymnasium Auditorium Saturday at 19:00.
Funds raised through the Ensemble classical music evening will be in aid of Eduhelp, a local non-profit charity organisation which assists children with special learning needs.
Since 2004 Eduhelp has been actively involved in two schools in Paarl where they do evaluation sessions followed by training suited to each child’s individual and specified needs.
Eduhelp funds psychologists and pays for the specialist evaluation sessions by their own specified therapists, who work with these children every day.
Tickets for the concert at R50 are available at Paarl Stationers (inside Kwikspar) and Northern Paarl Post Agency (inside Superspar) or at the door. For more info, visit www.artisanevents.co.za.
* If a school recognises that they have learners who suffer from learning disabilities they can contact Eduhelp, at eduhelp@vodamail.co.za or 072-757-2207.
