Quarters kick off

THE quarter finals of the annual Mayoral Soccer Cup kick off at 15:00 at the Boy Louw sportsgrounds on Sunday.
Mbekweni United will have to come to terms with FC Athletico, Sea Birds need to let fly against City Killers, Double V United will have to stand fast against Paarl SC and Newton United need be fresh against Young Ideas.
* During the match-ups played at the weekend, the top teams were Sea Birds and DC Rangers, who ended in a goal-less draw.
During the resulting penalty shoot-out, Sea Birds won by 4 goal kicks against 3 by DC Rangers.
