II’S time for our own home-grown comedy “Daais BeDinges”.
This one-man comedy show, acted by Hein Poole, will open tonight at 19:30 and can also be seen on Sunday 18 November at 16:00 and 19:00 at the Old Mill Theatre Paarl.
The play consists of versatile sketches of common characters which are found in the community.
Characters like Boeta Chris, who is a car guide and a Coons lover.
Dera, an old man who moans about revolution.
Madam, a Drag Queen, loves business and inspiring women to feel good.
There is also Zoleka, a home executive who wants to improve her life skills with technology and Kabouter, a street broker who sells anything you can think of.
The play is written by Hein Poole and directed by Redione Stephens and Celeste Loriston.
This is your time to let the irony of these common characters make you laugh at issues form politics, social and sexuality.
