POP the corks, fill the flutes and sip on the fizz of so-fizz-tication at the “Magic of Bubbles”, the Champagne Festival presented in Franschhoek over the weekend of 1 to 2 December from noon to sunset daily.
Popular Cap Classique producers and highly-acclaimed Champagne Houses will be showcasing their delectable “bubblies”.
This year, the illustrious event has undergone a make-over, with Investec Private Bank as a new partner, as well as an exciting change of venue: the gastronomic extravaganza is now taking place in a stylish grand marquee on the lawns surrounding Franschhoek’s Huguenot Monument.
The Valley’s best restaurants have special menus on offer, and the myriad of fashionable boutiques can only be described as a shopper's paradise! Bubbly will also be on sale throughout the revelry, an ideal Christmas gift.
Entrance to the bubbly tasting costs R150 per head, and includes a Champagne flute, tasting glass and a book of bubbly tasting vouchers.
