Cobras clash with Highveld Lions

THE cricketers Charl Langeveld and Stiaan van Zyl (both from Paarl) will be in action at Boland Park from today as the Cape Cobras take on the Highveld Lions in a four-day match-up of the Supersport Series.
Langeveld, nominated as the Mutual and Federal cricketer of the year, will spearhead the Cobra's bowling attack while batting at number eleven. The promising young Van Zyl, Boland's cricketer of the year, was selected as middle-order batsmen at number six.
Former Titans-player and Protea one-day all-rounder, Justin Kemp, will captain the hometeam.
Play starts at 10:00 and entrance is free.
