Bridge House and Pniel dominate u.11 T20 competition

THE Bridge House cricket team dominated Pool 2 of the Rhodes u.11 T20 cricket development competition by winning all three of their games to date, to secure a spot in the final with one game to go.
In Pool 1 Pniel Primary remain the favourites to go through to the final, although PC Pietersen Primary have an outside chance of spoiling Pniel's party.
Last week Pniel beat Simondium by 18 runs. Pniel scored 58 for 9 after a slow, shaky start.
The lower-order batsmen steadied the innings with Dean Adams recording the top score of the tournament thus far (11). Simondium were all out for 40.
On Wednesday Wes-Eind beat Groendal by 11 runs. Wes-Eind won the toss and decided to bat first, scoring 65 for the loss of only 3 wickets.
Groendal, despite a good knock by William Juries (14*), were 54 for 9 after their allotted 20 overs.
Friday saw Nondzame go down to Wemmershoek by 46 runs.
Wemmershoek batted first notching up 64 runs for 4 wickets.
Nondzame were bowled out for 18 runs.
Nashas Sibabis gained the distinction of being the first player in this competition to get a hat-trick.
His three wickets for Wemmershoek in the last three balls of his final over ended Nondzame's innings.
