SOUTH AFRICAN singing sensation Melanie Lowe will be in Cape Town from tomorrow, for four performances.
Tomorrow night she will at Da Vinci’s Supper Theatre Restaurant, Brackenfell (982-5590), Friday at Klein Libertas Theatre, Stellenbosch (883-8164), Saturday at The Bistro, Strand Pavilion, (854-4026) and Sunday at the V & A Waterfront Amphitheatre at 15:00.
Melanie will be performing a selection of original songs from her critically acclaimed album ‘Yesterday’s Diary’, and giving some background to the songs, and will also be performing a selection of her favourite songs.
Moving on from what she has gained from the Idols experience, Melanie is working very hard establishing herself as an original recording and performing artist, with her first album of all original songs written by her.
She has just filmed the music video for her original song ‘If I could’, which she wrote for Little Eden, the home for the mentally and physically handicapped, which she is very involved in doing work for.
Two lucky readers can each win a copy of Melanie’s CD. Just e-mail your details and the title of the CD to susanb@paarlpost.co.za before 15:00 on Friday 17 June.
