THE Postcard Show, an exhibition for which artists have been invited to produce artworks in a postcard format, opened at the contemporary art gallery Off the Wall in Paarl this week.
Using only the postcard as their inspiration, ideas about communication, the lack thereof, memories, sentimentality and other topics, are explored in this show.
All Postcard works will be sold at R420 each, thus creating an opportunity to buy good quality artworks at affordable prices. They will also make wonderful gifts for the festive season.
The exhibition, at the gallery at 171 Main Street, is open to the public until 16 January.
