DTP / GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Resposibilities include:
• The person must be visually-minded and have the skills to do the lay-out of advertisements.
• The designer will be responsible for making up advertisements and newspaper pages.
• The person will work closely with the advertising manager and sales representative of abovementioned publication.
• The person must be able to work under pressure and keep to deadlines.
• He/she must be willing to work overtime when needed.
Requirements needed:
• outstanding typing ability, at least 45 words p/m .
• extensive computer literacy.
• good human relations and the ability to function well under pressure.
• bilingual (Afrikaans/English) - speak, read and write.
• an accredited tertiary qualification in graphic design or relevant experience.
• previous experience at a newspaper or magazine will be advantageous.
• a thorough knowledge of CorelDraw.
