Zandwyk Park goes ahead

Zandwyk Park goes ahead

2011-09-22

THE first development in the new industrial park outside Paarl, in Ben Bernhardi Estate on the old Paarl Road, kicked off this week.

The first sod was turned in Zandwyk Park for the specialised industrial water treatment company Proxa.

Proxa is an independent provider of integrated and sustainable industrial water solutions.

Jan Hanekom Architects of Paarl were responsible for the architecture and JLK Construction was contracted as the builders.

Zandwyk Park is situated on the outskirts of Paarl, along the R101 (the Simonsvlei/Klapmuts Road).

It has panoramic views of the Paarl Valley and surrounding mountains with a river meandering through the centre of the development.

It is easily accessible from the N1, as well as the R44 and R303, while Cape Town’s northern suburbs, Franschhoek, Wellington, Worcester and Ceres are not far away. Zandwyk Park will offer high-security facilities with 24-hour gate control, and Wi-Fi access as an extra feature.

Subtle design guidelines have been introduced to complement the natural beauty of the area and to ensure that the development retains an upmarket and pleasant feel.

The development offers a total of forty-five plots with sizes ranging from 738 m˛ to 6 686 m˛.
