Paarl Labels, part of the Paarl Media Group, is a dynamic printing company specialising in the printing and finishing of value-added self-adhesive labels to the wine, food, fruit & beverage industries.
We need to appoint a suitably qualified person to take on the role of
TRAINEE IN ELECTRONIC ORIGINATION / PLATE MAKING
Reporting to the Prepress team leader, the successful candidate will be in possession of a matric certificate and a post-school qualification in design software such as Freehand, Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
He/she will also have a fine eye for detail and colour perception.
The person must be prepared to attend formal training sessions in Cape Town and to fulfill the role of platemaker during on-the-job training at our modern print facility in Paarl. Variable shifts may become part of the future working pattern for this position.
