JOB COACH: SIYANCEDA YOUTH PROGRAMME
The Siyanceda Programme, a skills and job development programme aimed at training and assisting young people with disability to find sustained employment in the open labour market, is looking for a Job Coach to assist, train and guide programme participants.
The Job Coach will work with the project team to train, assess and assist 10 trainees, who are mainly intellectually disabled young people (aged between 18 & 35 years).
Training is specifically in Hygiene and Cleaning Services, Lifeskills and open Labour Market Preparedness.
The job coach will also be responsible for sourcing of volunteer placements in the community as well as assisting trainees to find employment after completion of training.
REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience in working with persons with intellectual disabilities will be advantageous Training or mentoring experience Basic computer literacy Ability to work creatively and independently Good team worker Own transport essential Valid drivers licence Good report writing skills
