Senior Accounting Clerk

We are seeking to appoint a Senior Accounting Clerk with a relevant tertiary and/or extensive experience in the accounting environment. Previous experience in the printing and or media industry will be advantageous.
As part of the financial team, the successful candidate will be responsible for: reconciling of various general ledger accounts including VAT, inventory and bank, inventory reporting including stock valuation and statistical analysis, preparation of documents for payment, preparation and processing of journals and assistance across various accounting functions (e.g. Debtors and Creditors).
The successful candidate will be computer literate with Microsoft Office, Pastel and Accpac. It further requires that the candidate have good interpersonal and communication skills and have the ability to work under pressure.
