MAINTENANCE SUPERVISORS x2

Two opportunities exist at Rheinmetall Denel Munition South - Engineering Department (Philippi and Wellington sites) for Maintenance Supervisors (Mechanical).
Key responsibilities: Total maintenance of all plants in the danger area
• Performing statutory and Register inspections.
• Plan, organise and control all maintenance tasks
• Evaluating and updating of scheduled maintenance task
• Responsible to draw up and control own budget
• Assist production plants with maintenance budget and controlling of cost
• Appointed under GMR 2.7 to assist the GMR 2.1 appointed person
• Responsible for the training and safe working procedures for personnel reporting directly
• Manage the people under his control
• Capturing of data from completed job cards
• Timely submitting of regular and interim reports
• Monitoring and follow up on outstanding and overdue tasks.
The successful candidate should possess:
Min N5/T3 or NQF 5 equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience after qualifying as an artisan in a mechanical discipline or minimum 3 years’ experience after obtaining T3 qualification or 2 years as a supervisor
• Knowledge of ISO standards, SHE / Quality / maintenance engineering systems and other relevant business legislations
• Code 8 driver’s licence is essential
• Driver’s licence (Code 8).
