WORKING FOR WATER BERG RIVER PROJECT MANAGED BY OVERBERG WATER Working for Water (WfW), an inter-departmental programme lead by the Department of Water Affairs and Forestry, aims to sustainably control invading alien plant species, thus promoting water conservation and biodiversity. This will enhance water security, improve ecological integrity, restore productive potential of land, create jobs and facilitate economic empowerment. GENERAL ADMINISTRATOR - PAARL The post is a 2-year contract with a 1-year probation period. The contract might be extended by mutual agreement. REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 (Std 10), Administration background, Computer literacy, Proven ability to work accurately and independently. DUTIES: Personnel and general administration, filing documents, record keeping of Health and Safety/CO3DA documents, taking notes at meetings. RECOMMENDATIONS: Knowledge, insight and understanding of Working for Water projects, understanding of procurement Procedures within a public environment.
