Primary markets for its products include Southern Africa, USA, Europe Thailand and Australia. The company was founded in 1949, is headquartered Paarl and employs more than 200 people.
The company has the following vacancies:
Design Draughtsman
• Minimum 2 years experience in mechanical drafting
• Technical qualification in mechanical drafting
Structural Plate & Sheet Metal Artisans
• Formal trade qualification essential
• Minimum 3 years fabrication experience in s/s manufacturing environment
Boiler Makers
• Formal trade qualification essential
• Experience in construction of pressure vessels to manufacturing codes such as ASME XIII required
Maintenance Technician
• Minimum 3 years experience
• Experience in general maintenance of fabrication equipment to include mechanical and electrical fault finding and repair
Millwrights
• Minimum 3 years mechanical and electrical experience
• Experience with P.L.C. based control systems essential
• Willingness to travel locally & internationally regularly
Service Technician
• N6 Electronics background or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years experience in a customer service related role.
• Good communication skills - verbal and written
Bookkeeper
A competent bookkeeper is required to support our main office and associated businesses. This position will be responsible for accounting and administration within various departments.
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
• 5 to 10 years Bookkeeping Experience
• General Ledger Reconciliation Experience
• Inventory and Costing Experience
• Good communication skills (fluent in English and Afrikaans)
• Computer literate
• Be able to work under pressure
• Work independently
Technical Sales Manager
The successful candidate will be responsible for selling high value imported capital and leased equipment into the fresh fruit and juice industry in Southern Africa. Growth opportunities exist.
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Relevant tertiary education - engineering, marketing or business degree / diploma
• Solid experience in technical sales of Capital Equipment
• Strong computer skills, specifically with respect to spreadsheets
• The ability to design and plan factory layouts
• Willingness to travel both locally and internationally
• Experience in the food industry would be an advantage
