Swedish / Mbekweni Partners
Mbekweni Swedish partnership is a joint venture which aims at assisting with the development of Mbekweni.
The focus is an empowering Commmunity Based Organisation including women, mens groups, youth, pre-schools.
The partnership is therefore looking for an individual who has the following attributes to co-ordinate the Programme.
Regular contact with the Swedish project management.
Be a self-starter and work in close collaboration with MADP.
Support and assist the local groups that are in the project.
Must have proven project management and co-ordination for the partnership.
Be able to provide training for empowerment to the project participants.
Prepare and co-ordinate programmes for meetings and workshops for partnership visits.
Encourage work and co-operation between groups as well as local government
(municipality), work with other interested sectors or groups.
Investigate educational and training needs for the target projects and groups.
Produce training materials and manuals for the target projects/groups.
Document and keep records of all project work and project committee.
Write monthly and annural reports for stakeholders.
Secure, protect and maintain all resources for the partnership.
Assist with research and evaluation for projects when need arises.
Administer the travel activities from South Africa to Sweden.
Assist with fundraising for the projects.
Network with other organisations and arrange study visits.
The candidate will have his/her own vehicle for which petrol will be paid for.
The candidate will have a degree in Social Science and not less than three years work experience.
