Platex (PTY) Ltd, a company in the flexible packaging industry in Paarl, has a vacant position for a:
Quality Controller
The successful candidate will report to the Quality Assurance Manager and supervise quality activities • This person will closely be involved in the Quality Control of all printing, lamination, conversion and extrusion production processes in the plant.
If you:
• are presentable, reliable
• of sober habits, a quality focused person
• have good communication and leadership skills
• emotional maturity to be able to handle confrontation and pressure
• bilingual in English and Afrikaans
• are able to work independently and in a group
• willing to work shifts
• able to work under pressure
• living in Paarl/ Wellington
• have a minimum Grade 12 and /or packaging diploma
• Excellent working knowledge of current QA systems
• knowledge of the packaging production processes with in particular a good working knowledge of printing, extrusion, conversion and lamination
