ESTIMATOR
Betafence South Africa (Pty) Ltd is looking to recruit an estimator.
Based in Dal Josaphat, Paarl, your role will be to prepare cost estimates for tenders and quotations, and generate bills of materials for production and procurement purposes.
Key accountabilities:
• Prepare time, cost, materials, plant and equipment and labour estimates
• Calculate final figures for the estimated cost
• Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures
• Establish and maintain tendering processes and conduct negotiations
• Generate bills of materials for production and procurement purposes
Profile
• Tertiary qualification in building construction, construction management or quantity surveying preferable
• A minimum of 5 yrs’ experience in estimates and tenders for projects and drafting of bills of materials
• Ability to work under pressure and against stringent deadlines
• Experience in export costing an advantage
