Franschhoek Hospice offers a professional registered nurse the opportunity to work in a small, vibrant hospice that provides both palliative as well as general home nursing services.
This position would suit an emotionally mature person. This is a five-eights post and renumerated accordingly. No medical aid or pension fund offered.
REQUIREMENTS
At least five years professional nursing experience, preferably in primary health care setting (advantage if palliative experienced/trained);
Live within about a 15 km radius from Franschhoek Village (or relocate);
Prepared to do after-hours call-outs and work public holidays (we deliver 24/7 365 days service); Have a good sense of humour and a positive attitude.
ESSENTIAL
Valid driver's licence;
SANC/DENOSA current registration;
Fluent in English and Afrikaans (advantage if fluent in Xhosa).
