The Small Enterprise Development Agency (Seda) is an Agency established through an Act of Parliament, to support the development of small business in South Africa.
It was formally launched on 13 December 2004. The establishment of seda will ensure a co-ordinated approach in the design and implementation of development support programmes and the creation of a service network for small business throughout South Africa. The seda Cape Winelands Branch in Stellenbosch will be implementing an internship programme in Business Advising and Business Development Services, and interested applicants are invited to apply.
INTERNSHIPS
Intern will be exposed to areas of general business advisory services and development to small, micro and medium enterprises.
Target group: Unemployed (or employed outside of field of expertise) graduates and post-graduates from recognised tertiary institutions. Number of interns needed: 1
Entry requirements:
• Candidates will have graduated from disciplines appropriate to the job required (eg. Engineering, Business Management, Small Business Management, Manufacturing, Textile Technology, Forestry etc.) • Only theoretical component of recognised tertiary qualifications need to be completed • A valid code EB driver’s licence
Intern will receive a market-related monthly stipend for the duration of the 12 month contract.
Duration of the programme: 12 months, NOT RENEWABLE
