Part-time Supervisor

Boschendal Limited seeks to appoint the following PART TIME positions at Le Pique-Nique, an outdoor eating facility at the Boschendal Complex that provides pre-packed lunches between 5 October 2005 up until 15 May 2006.
SUPERVISOR
Reporting to the Manager your responsibilities will include:
• Supervising of Le Pique Nique staff;
• Monitoring employee performance against set standards;
• Ensuring a high standard of customer service is maintained;
• Ensuring that the food quality and presentation standards are maintained;
• Assisting in the monthly stock control audit and general stock control;
• Assisting in the ordering of stock;
• Assisting in the controlling of prepared budgets and implemented costings.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
• fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans, an additional language will be an advantage;
• 1-2 years working experience in a similar environment;
• Matric or equivalent;
• a valid code 8 drivers licence;
• be presentable, friendly, outgoing and confident in dealing with the public;
• be prepared to work Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
WAITRONS, WINE STEWARDS, CASHIER
Reporting to the Le Pique Nique Supervisor your responsibilities will include:
• Candidates will be required to be fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans, a third language will be an advantage;
• Candidates must be presentable, friendly, outgoing and confident in dealing
with the public;
• Working experience in a similar environment will be an advantage;
• Candidates must be prepared to work Saturdays, Sundays and Public
Holidays;
• Candidates will be paid on an hourly basis;
Applicants will be provided with training in the wine service course, passing this course will be a requirement for these positions.
