The following vacancy exists at Imperial Cargo in Paarl.
WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR
The incumbent will be responsible to supervise the employees, control stock and manage the loads to ensure compliance with the service level agreement with the customer.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Supervise employees.
- Managing of loads.
- Responsible for stock control.
- Ensure housekeeping is done in line with company standards.
- Do load, stock and people administration.
- Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to.
JOB KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS REQUIRED
- Grade 12.
- Certificate in stock control and stock keeping or warehouse management.
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Ability to manage teams.
- Strong leadership abilities.
- Working knowledge of ISO.
- Be willing and able to work shifts and overtime.
- Candidates should be able to conduct themselves in a professional manner.
NB: Appointment is subject to positive security clearance as well as passing the in-house proficiency test.
