A challenging opportunity exists at DivFood, Paarl for a qualified Electrician/Mechanician who will report directly tot the Master Installatio Technician.
Key responiblities will include:
* Mainaining and faultfinding on high-speed manufacturing line: control systems, relay logic, temperature control systems and electrical builfing maintenance
* Faultfinding on electronic control systems
* Attending promptly to all emergency breakdowns
* Problem identification and root cause analysis
* Accurate completion of schedules, shift reports and all required administration
* Ad hoc projects
* Safety and housekeeing.
The ideal candidate must comply with the following criteria:
* Grade 12 and N4 or S4 qualification
* A qualified Eklectrician or Mechanician
* Minimum of five years' post-qualifícation experience in the canmaking or other highspeed manufacturing environment.
* Programming in Siemens S5 or S7 would be an advantage
* Ability to perform basic PLC programming
* Knowledge of AC inverters (drives)
* Electroning troubleshooting ability and to work with an oscillosope
* Sound technical judgement
* Preparedness to work shifts and overtime as well as perform standby and callout
* Analytical abilities with a proven track record in problem solving
* Ability to work under pressure.
