Social Worker
The Ikhwezi Centre wishes to appoint an appropriately qualified, experienced social worker to the above contractual position for a period of a year. The contract is potentially renewable. The incumbent will be accountable to the Ikhwezi Trust and will work within the Social programme to carry out the aims of the Ikhwezi Trust.
The social worker will be expected to work Mondays - Wednesday for a per annum fee of R46 865.00
The ideal candidate should:
•A registered social worker
•Have extensive knowledge of HIV/AIDS and Poverty alleviation
•Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
•Have previous experience and training in community work
•Be computer literate and have good writing skills
•Code 08 drivers license, own transport an advantage
The incumbent will be responsible for:
•Design, implement and monitoring of programmes
•Submitting reports on a monthly basis
•Do home visits
•Compile relevant data
•Liaising with existing structures in community
