Position:
Artisan Apprenticeship (Fitter or Millwright)
Competencies and Requirements:
• Minimum grade 12 Technical High School or N2 with appropriate subjects
• Sound academic record and practical performance
• Excellent academic record and practical performance with an aptitude for mathematics
• Excellent analytical & technical potential
• Practical exposure in a food manufacturing environment would be an advantage, but not a prerequisite
• Must be prepared to go through an intensive practical and theoretical training programme
• All short-listed candidates will be assessed by a training institute to indicate suitability for the programme
• Applicants must be prepared to attend the apprenticeship training in Paarl for the duration of the programme
• On successful completion of the programme applicants must be prepared to be relocated to one of our factories in South Africa where they will be placed in a suitable vacancy
Benefits:
• Successful applicants will be placed at a Paarl based Engineering Company for the duration of the apprenticeship contract. Training will be provided at a registered training institution where required in combination with practical exposure
• Market-related remuneration will be provided for the duration of the apprenticeship programme
