Finance Manager
A leading food & wine destination in Franschhoek is looking for an experienced candidate to establish and maintain effective financial management and control of its operations. As an integral part of the company's senior management team, the Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, optimal risk management, cost and revenue management, as well as ongoing performance analysis and reporting, including the following aspects:
Departmental supervision
Ensure correctness of financial statements
Ongoing reporting and analysis
Cost, performance and process improvement
Statutory and fiscal compliance
External stakeholder liaison
Minimum requirements
A degree in Financial Management (B.Com; B.BusSci)
Solid understanding of financial principles within the wine, hospitality and restaurant business
A proven track record with a minimum of 5 - 10 years experience in a related position
Excellent working knowledge of EzyWine and Excel
Leadership abilities
A highly disciplined and assertive personality with a fine eye for detail
