Job purpose: To render efficient and effective administrative support service to the school and the principal’s office
1. Qualifying criteria:
Matric certificate Computer literacy MS Word, Excel, Power Point (Short-listed candidates will undergo a typing test) Fluency in Afrikaans, English Knowledge of IsiXhosa (recommendation)
2. Primary criteria:
Secretarial duties - effective administration of the principal’s office and reception area
Assist principal with financial matters: Procurement of goods, effective general accounting practices, preparation of financial statements (audit reports, WCED O43, quarterly reports), payment of governing body personnel.
Diverse administrative functions: Provision of support, administration of personnel related matters, provide learner support, provide support during examinations, administration of feeding scheme, administration of transport matters, provision of first aid, E-mail system, online attendance registers (staff and learners), manage Cemis related matters (learner enrolment), HCLMS management, control assets/inventory management.

Participation in co-curricula activities: Sport and culture as well as fundraising. Ability to work with LSEN. Experience as administrative clerk Valid driver’s licence (EB) Hand in CV and certified copies of certificates to the principal at school.
