GENERAL MANAGER
FRANSCHHOEK HOSPICE
Due to the impending semi-retirement of our current General Manager, we invite applications from suitably qualified persons for the above position, which will require 6 hours per day.
The successful candidate should have the following qualities and abilities:
General nursing/Hospice experience would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Excellent administrative ability
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to manage and motivate staff
Ability to recruit, manage and motivate volunteer workers
Represent Franschhoek Hospice to its various publics, ie its patients, donors, the broad Franschhoek Commu-nity, and the Provincial and National Hospice Organi-sations
Responsibilities will include:
Working alongside the Patient Care Manager
Fundraising Management, with the Fundraising Committee
Financial Systems with the Treasurer/Bookkeeper
Facilitate ongoing Staff Training Programmes
