1. CARETAKER (WELLINGTON TOWN HALL) COR-04/A.C.C 2. CLERK GRADE II (TRAINING) COR-03/A.B.A 03.01.
SELECTION CRITERIA : (1) - Standard 8 (Grade 10), plus a valid Code B (08) driver’s licence. Supervisory skills. Communication, human relations and interpersonal skills. Ability to give attention to detail. Ability to undertake basic maintenance work. 2 Years’ relevant experience.
(2) - Grade 12, Computer literate. Good administrative, interpersonal and communication skills. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation. Fluent in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. 1 Year experience.
SALARY SCALE: (1)R65 508 - R75 972 (post level 11) per annum (2)R57 216 - R64 332 (post level 12) per annum
Note : Proof of Qualifications is a requirement for selection. The requirements of the Employment Equity Act will be considered for this position, but will not be the only criteria applied.
A service bonus equal to one month’s salary is payable and normal fringe benefits related to Local Authorities including a housing allowance scheme for home owners and will be applicable subject to certain conditions.

Placement of candidates for work can be done in any area of Drakenstein. This area covers Simondium, Paarl, Wellington, Gouda, Hermon and Saron.
